Leading Man of Jane De leon in Darna Finally Revealed

Many Filipino has been waiting too long for the newest Darna film to be released. Darna has been one of the most popular household names in the country when it comes to our very own Pinoy superheroes and superheroines. It has been such a controversial issue in the past few years as reports have been circulating in the entertainment industry that Angel Locsin should have been the actress to take on the lead role, unfortunately, she needed to focus on her health that is why she didn’t accept the project. Same thing happened to Liza Soberano.

And now that it has been already finalized that Jane De Leon would be the next Darna, a lot of Filipinos were very delighted to finally got to watch one of the most anticipated movies today. After Jane De Leon had been announced to play the lead role of Darna, the public waited for her leading man to be announced as well. The lucky actor to portray as Darna’s leading is no other than Paulo Avelino. Leo Dominguez, the manager of the actor had hinted on his own social media account about the upcoming big project of Paulo.

It had also garnered an enormous number of reactions from the public. On the other hand, netizens have mixed opinions about Paulo getting the role. Some commented that he seems to be older than Jane and Alden Richards or even Enrique Gil should probably get the role. There were also some netizens who said that he is indeed great in acting, he is one of the most handsome actors of his generation and that he is also deserving to be Darna’s leading man.

Michael Paulo Lingbanan Avelino, better known as Paulo Avelino is a 31-year-old actor, model, singer, and television presenter. He becomes popular because of his amazing portrayals in “Walang Hanggan”, “Honesto”, “Bridges of Love”, and “Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral”. He has a son, Ethan Akio Reyes Avelino, with fellow StarStruck alumna, LJ Reyes.
