Pinay Recently Discovered That Her Real Father Was A King

Today, a Pinay living in New York is trending in social media. A Facebook post by the Human of New York FB page revealed the amazing story of this Filipina. According to them, This Filipina discovered that she is actually the daughter of a real King.

This half-Filipina and half-Malaysian woman who was told by her mother that her father is actually the King of Malaysia. At first, She didn’t really believe her because she felt that her mother is just making an excuse for her not to ask about her father’s absence anymore. But several years later, she discovered that her Mom's words were actually true! She is the daughter of a king which means that she is a princess!


This Pinay princess shared her story in the quarantine story series of Humans of New York. She recalled her experience back when she was still in Kindergarten where she needed to bring her father to school for an event. But her mother told her that he is too busy and that he lives in Malaysia, and he is a king! She was really sad that her father couldn’t make it to their school event but she seems to be very happy that her father is true, a real king.

They migrated to the United Estates from the Philippines. They live in a small rented apartment and for her, it doesn’t seem to be a Princess’ way of living. When she asked her mother again, her mother revealed that she was actually a nurse in Malaysia before and she met the king at a party. When she was 14-years-old, they had received a strange call in their home about the king wanting to meet her. When she finally had the chance to meet with her father, she was really disappointed that she only had 1 hour to meet him and he also came with an entourage. Her father supported her but he never agreed to do more than that for her or even for her mother.

Her father is the Sultan of Pahang, the king and the hereditary constitutional head of Pahang, Malaysia. His Royal Highness Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah ibni Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mu’azzam Shah is the name of her father. He had a wife. The first one is his official and royal consort, Tengku Ampuan Afzan binti Tengku Panglima Perang Muhammad. She passed away and had a second wife named Kalsom binti Abdullah.
