Garbage Collector Dad Who Earns Less 10 Dollars A Day Able To Support Daughter To Finish College
One thing we can be proud of is whenever we were able to walk on stage and receive that diploma we worked har for, and we will be ready to face the real world of work, and anticipate the journey of giving back to the people who helped you achieve your goals. If the graduate already has already such feels during the graduation, what more would be the pride the parents may feel as they have achieved sending their children to college.
As we have heard from our parents, the only thing they can entrust on us that they can consider as a treasure would be our education. At an early age, we were oriented and instilled in one of us the value of education. Yet there would always be families where due to living in the low poverty line makes earning a degree an elusive endeavor. Just imagine the pride of a father, sending his daughter to college and being able to graduate.
Tatay Cristito accepted that life is tough, with five children who are still studying, it will be very hard to budget their daily allowance. From the meager amount of less than $10 as a garbage collector which is actually below the minimum wage, he would try his very best to bridge the days in order for him to support the needs of his family.

There have been instances when his daughter would go to school without any allowance, that only her fare for the day is provided. Tatay Cristito’s daughter shared, that even her classmates extended their help in order for her to survive her college life.
As the daughter who had graduated with the degree Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Technology, she is now excited to finally land a job and to treat her family to a good restaurant to eat, but her father new clothes to wear, and a lot more. Unlike any other child, Tatay Cristito’s daughter is very proud when asked what was the work of her father.
There might have been a lot of risks working as a garbage collector, but Tatay Cristito vowed that he will do his best to provide for his family and send each of his children to college for as long as he lives. What do you think? Isn’t his story inspiring?
