 It's been awhile since ABS-CBN launched the audition of its new talent search show "Star Hunt" and it was only revealed recently that this show is linked to the opening of the new season of Pinoy Big Brother.

Among thousands who auditioned, this pretty face became an instant favorite not just because of her beauty but most especially because of her inspiring story. Let's get to know more about Karina Bautista of Isabella.

16-year-old Karina Bautista is half Filipino-half Japanese. Her mother is a Filipina while her father is a Japanese. The young dreamer lived most of her life without her father whom she revealed living now in the United States as businessman. Despite their distance, Karina is still thankful because her father has kept their connection up to now and never missed any important occassion to extend his greetings for the aspiring artist.

Meanwhile, Karina's mother also lives thousand miles away from her daughter and currently works in Hongkong. That why, Karina was in her relatives' residence. However, the Karina later decided to move out from their home due to some conflicts with her relatives and went to a family friend.

Karina lives as a bed spacer in her "mamita's" house. Although she pays her "mamita" for the space she provided in their house, Karina still extends her help in the household. That is why, her "mamita" never treats her different and served as her second mother because "mamita" never had a daughter in her life.

Apart from being independent and beautiful, Karina made use of her gifts and good qualities by joining competitions including beauty pageants and declamation contests in their city and it's not impossible for this beautiful aspiring Kapamilya star to bag all titles because she really is a woman of substance.
