Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu, a Filipina-Chinese actress, 28 years old also known as Kim Chiu, the winner of the long time running television show PBB: Teen Edition was surprised that one of the new housemate of the PBB house was actually her twin sister from another mother. Because of their undeniable resemblance to each other, even her co-hosts Robi Domingo and other netizens got really confused. The newest edition of the Pinoy Big Brothers House entitled, "PBB: Otso" had been trending in social media over the weekend because of its big revelation about the new housemates. One of them had gained the attention of the netizens because back when Kim Chiu was still a PBB housemate, they are really look a like!
The new housemate is known to be "The Sassy Sipag Girl ng Gen San", Jelay Pilones. She is a 17-year old "raketera" singer from General Santos City. She was tagged as a raketera because at an early age she was joining gigs for her to earn money and help her family. Her mother and father are also singers like her.
"Natuto po akong kumanta kasi lagi po akong sumasama sa mga gigs mama at saka ni papa po. Once a a week po kaming nag-gi-gig tapos kumikita po ako kada gabi ng 500 (pesos),” Jelay explained in an interview.
She is also a chinita like the Chinita Princess Kim Chiu. Last Saturday, November 10, during the live show of the Pinoy Big Brother Otso as the hosts introduce the new set of housemates they could not help it but notice that Jelay looks like Kim Chiu a lot! Even the chinita princess herself had noticed it. “Actually parang medyo ano tayo ah… nawawala ko pa lang kapatid ‘to!”Even her co-host, Robi Domingo agreed on her saying, "Actually kanina ko pa napapansin eh, hawig na hawig ni Jelay si Prinsesa Chinita o!”
Could it be an edge for Jelay Pilones to be the next PBB: Otso ultimate winner? Surely, this is the beginning of the new sets of young stars we can't wait to see grow and bloom in the show business industry.
