It has been years since the children show Ang TV has passed, and it featured different celebrity artists where some still have their career in the entertainment industry while some decided to pursue a more peaceful life while starting with their new family.
How years and experience can do to a person? Rica Peralejo started as one of the stars of Ang TV in 1993 when she was eight years old, the televiewers have witnessed her growth and how she blossomed into her teens on the show TGIS.
In 2010 Rica Peralejo married the pastor, Joseph “Joe Bonifacio” of the Every Nation Church. After their marriage she pursued her bachelor’s degree at the Ateneo de Manila University and at present pursuing her graduate studies in Evangelism and Leadership at Wheaton College.
In 2014, they were blessed with a son, and two years after, they were expecting for a new member of the family, unfortunately it ended with a miscarriage. It might have been a sad news for the couple and their closest friends but their faith did not waver. After a year, she announced that she had another miscarriage that again might have shaken her faith and hope, yet it made these challenges hold on the Lord’s promises even more.
With the support from the people who loves them, they would be willing to try another time to make a baby if it is really the plan of God. She mentioned that she was in pain, but she is already healing because she knows that she is loved and blessed, and that is one true faith that can really be inspiring.
She manages an online blog, everydayanewpage.com where she posts inspirational experiences and stories and devotions, and according to her page’s description, the topics she writes range from faith to family and to everyday curiosities.
At the age of 37, Rica still looks as fresh and charming as before. She might not be seen often on television, but what is certain is she was still able to influence people on her own way through her blog and her published books. What do you think? Thanks for reading!
