Ito Na Pala Si Hipon Girl Ngayon, Ang Ganda Na Nya

 If you have been an avid follower of the variety show, Wowowin, you would have heard of one of the hosts of the show known as "Hipon Girl". Despite the gag and crazy antics she did in the show to bring laughter to the audience, she also shares how this particular opportunity turned her life around.

Herlene Budol shares that her gig in Wowowin all started as an accident. And clearly, she mentions that she isn't really someone who is talented and poised like most of her co-hosts. She said she had nothing else but pure self-confidence. She stated that her self-confidence brought her to this once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of Willie Revillame's show.
Hipon Girl's life is an open book for everyone. She is open that her life was impoverished and they struggle to make ends meet. Growing up with her grandparents, life wasn't easy for her and her family. She said that if it wasn't for her wit, she would have achieved nothing. She wouldn't achieve everything she has right now if she didn't bring her courage with her. She said she will be forever grateful for the opportunity and success of being part of Wowowin.
Herlene started off a contestant in a segment of Willie's show in GMA-7. She said she brought nothing but wit and charm, so no doubt, the audience was easily captured with her humor, quirky personality, and charisma. She was then given an opportunity to be a co-host in the show along with other stars like Donita Nose and Sugar Mercado.

Aside from that, she was also given a chance to showcase her talent in acting when she starred on an episode of "Magpakailanman", a reality-based drama show where she portrayed the character of an OFW who fell in love with her employer. Many were impressed with her acting skills.

Herlene, herself, cannot believe of the success she is now experiencing. Because of the opportunity presented to her, she is now able to lift up their current status and own a couple of businesses on the side. She is also able to purchase a house now, and even own cars to her name.
