 News anchor and public figure popularly known in his series, “Tulfo in Action”, Raffy Tulfo, would consider retiring from his job due to his worsening health condition.

“Idol Raffy”, as most would call him, was advised by his cardiologist to retire from his job as a news anchor and as a host of reality-drama-solution-providing show Tulfo in Action. After many years in the industry, Raffy revealed something about his health condition most especially his heart. Reality-speaking, people are not getting any younger, and same goes with Raffy, his health condition would probably get in the way especially in the nature of his job. Tulfo in Action is an intense series in YouTube which deals with problems and legal issues of the citizens of the country. Tulfo and his team is there to provide a solution to the problem, or file cases and legal actions for certain complaints in the show. Tulfo’s cardiologist worried about his health, and that the nature of his job is not going to help alleviate his current condition. So in the long run, he advised the news anchor to quit his job and enjoy his retirement. Otherwise, the intense nature of the show might take a toll on his health sooner or later.

But according to Idol Raffy, he loves his job and enjoys providing justice and help to those who are in need. Despite the complaints done live in the show, he remains calm and according to him, he is in control and knows how to manage his stress no matter how stressful the show may be for him and for the rest of his staff.

“One of my cardiologists called me up. Kung puwede, mag-retire na raw ako. Stop ko raw muna itong ginagawa ko dahil napakinggan at napanood niya yung estilo ng programa ko. Sabi niya, eventually, baka tatamaan ka sa puso.”

(One of my cardiologists called me up and told me to retire from my job. Stop whatever I am doing right now because he has watched some of the episodes and the style on how we run the program and its constituents. He mentioned that if I don’t, it might affect my heart condition)

However, in his last statement, the journalist insisted on keeping his job, and giving all his heart to help the people. There are just a few topics that he refused to participate on such as problems with landownership and politics, as he did not want to make politicians take advantage of the publicity provided by his program.
