 Despite the crisis and economical struggles the country is facing right now due to the pandemic brought by Covid-19, it is good to know that there are still people out there who can show compassion to their fellow countrymen who are in need to survive and live through their day-to-day needs.

Just like this delivery man, a truck driver, who did not think twice nor hesitate to help a man selling ice cream along the streets on a rainy day.

According to the netizen who posted the photo on Facebook named Patrick Mariano, he was busy doing chores at home when he looked at his window and noticed that a delivery truck suddenly stopped over and parked in front of their house. Feeling confused, he knew he didn’t have any deliveries set today nor anyone from their household.

He was then surprised by the next things he saw. The delivery man went off his truck and approached the old man who sells ice cream on the sidewalk. It appears that the delivery man stopped by and helped the old man selling ice cream.

Due to his condition being frail and more exposed to the dangers of contracting the virus, and given that the weather that day was not as nice and kind for people on the streets, the delivery man decided to purchase all of his ice cream.

He also mentioned that he would buy all the ice cream so that the old vendor can finally go home to his family especially during a bad weather. The ice cream vendor also didn’t appear to have an umbrella with him, and only wears a worn-out raincoat and cap to protect himself from the rain.
