PBB OTSO Housemate Yen Quirante, Mas Lalong Gumanda Pag labas ng Bahay Ni Kuya
Do you remember the young province girl who entered the Pinoy Big Brother house two years ago? Yes! It is no other than Yen Quirante, a young 16-year-old girl from the province of Camarines Sur, who entered the PBB house with overwhelming energy and positivity about life. Yen was also filled with dreams and hopes upon entering the reality TV show, where she hopes to uplift the life of her family from poverty.
She was known as the Palangiting Dreamer of Camarines Sur, which surely lives up to her reasons why she joined the particular competition. According to Yen, she wishes to provide a comfortable life for her family, as she herself experienced hardships at the age of 13 and she doesn’t want her siblings to experience the same thing that she did. Yen also said in the show that at the age of 13, her life turned upside-down when their father died of heart attack. Because of their economic status, Yen was sent to live with her grandmother where she worked as a pig pen cleaner just to be able to go to school. Yen said she doesn’t want her siblings to experience the same thing, and that fueled her dreams up to strive and win in the competition. However, Yen was not announced to be the big winner, but ranked up second place next to her best friend who won the highest award. But even though Yen only bagged home the second place, many opportunities knocked on her door and it eventually changed her and her family’s life altogether.
Yen was able to purchase a condominium unit from the prizes she won in the competition, and now her family was able to move in to a more comfortable lifestyle in the city more than what they had in the province back then.
Now, a 17-year-old back to the outside world, Yen still had fuel to achieve the dreams she had always wanted. The dreamer gal is out sharing her talent and skills to her fans and supporters through her YouTube channel and in TikTok. She also mentions that she had always dreamed of becoming a Miss Universe in the future. Many of her fans supported her decision, and also noticed that with her beauty, wit, and contagious smile, she is in no doubt a good candidate to be the next representative of the Philippines for the prestigious pageant.
